I started my Schibsted career in Aftonbladet in 2017 as a SEO specialist and later SEO manager. I love new challenges and since I had had got to know great people in Blocket, I tried a new role there as SEO Manager in 2020. Since the summer of 2021 I am now a Product Manager at Blocket. A new challenge in a totally new role with more leadership aspects.
In just a few years, I have had the opportunity to develop and try new roles. I think Schibsted really invests in its employees – I have had a lot of trainings through Learning Lab, for instance in leadership, as well as participating in the mentor program. It seems to me that everyone here wants you to succeed in your career and cheers you on the way. It is a fantastic place to build your career.
Blocket has a fantastic engaged and passionate spirit. It is very friendly, collaborative and welcome. Many of us want to change the world, and people are really ambitious in their roles. When you start, you are welcomed by friends and smiles.
My wife does all the Blocket great deals in our house. Countless deals … My Blocket story is a TV that I needed to get rid of. I posted an ad late one evening and was bombarded with messages where people were happy to come by in the middle of the night just to get it. Had to remove the ad and answer a lot of messages before I went to bed that night. Worth to mention is that I also posted it on a competitor’s site at the same time and didn’t get a single response! 😮
